Yantouch Diamond+ Light, Sleep / Wake & Music Device

If you're looking for a gift for that someone special who seems to have everything, chances are that he or she doesn't have the Yantouch Diamond+, a 3-in-1 mini entertainment system that's a sound, light and a sleep/wake device all built-in to a desktop diamond-cut shaped globe. The Rhythm of Language

Style is a very simple matter: it is all rhythm. Once you get that, you can’t use the wrong words. But on the other hand here am I sitting after half the morning, crammed with ideas, and visions, and so on, and can’t dislodge them, for lack of the right rhythm. Now this is very profound, what rhythm is, and goes far deeper than words. A sight, an emotion, creates this wave in the mind, long before it makes words to fit it; and in writing (such is my present belief) one has to recapture this, and set this working (which has nothing apparently to do with words) and then, as it breaks and tumbles in the mind, it makes words to fit it.

This is something I’ve often covered. In this story, for example, the BMJ’s own press release about their own paper was hopelessly and entirely misleading. And after this story, featuring a […]

Nexus 9 review: High-end hardware, but at a hefty price tag

I’ve always been a fan of Google’s Nexus line of products because of their relatively low price tag. With the Nexus 6 and to some extent, the Nexus 9, Google has ditched this strategy in favour of raising the price […]
