Disney has donated $1 Million to the victims of Sunday’s mass shooting in Orlando, Florida.
Orlando mayor, Buddy Dyer, announced via Twitter that the Walt Disney Company donated the large sum to OneOrlando, the organization created to help raise money for those “most affected by the mass shooting,” THR reports.
“We are heartbroken by this tragedy and hope our commitment will help those in the community affected by this senseless act,” chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Bob Chapek, said in a statement. “With 74,000 cast members who call Orlando home, we mourn the loss of the victims and offer our condolences to their families, friends and loved ones.”

Over $3.6 million has been raised for victims through the GoFundMe campaign.
49 people lost their lives and 50 others were injured when a 29-year-old gunmen went on a shooting rampage in a local nightclub.
